Hi,

I am an avid player of Football Manager, from all the way back since it was Championship Manager 1.  It inspired my career choice (Software Engineer) and has given hours of fun since.

This blog will be about managing my favourite team, Glasgow Celtic!   I have the following aims;

1. Ensure Celtic are the dominant force in Scotland.
2. Win the Champions League with Celtic.
3. Become the Scotland Manger and lead them to the European Championship and World Cup finals.

I’ve tried this numerous times but lets see if this is the time I’ll succeed.

And if you are wondering, the title of the blog “For it’s a grand old team to MANAGE..” is a play on the popular Celtic song “Hail!  Hail!  (For it’s a Grand Old Team)” of which the chorus is;

For it’s a grand old team to play for,

For it’s a grand old team to say!

And if you know the history, it’s enough to make your heart go oh-oh-oh

Oh we don’t care where we win, lose of draw.

What the hell do we care?

For we only know that there’s going to be a show

and the Glasgow Celtic will be there.
